Travertine Pavers - A dramatic material with beauty

Travertine Floor is one of the most exciting paving materials I have worked long time. Although this material can be imported from many countries, the material I have been working with my landscape design projects from Peru. These pavers travertine marble are of the Collection of the Andes.

I recently provided a landscape design for customers who wanted a pool. Hence, preparing the pool for selection.

I knew I would love a natural material. I often use Bluestone, however, a pool area, this is very hot on the feet, so really not a good option. Travertine flooring, however, are cool to the touch. They also resist freezing conditions thaw so will not crack.

They come in many beautiful colors he suggested the color that I felt better and went home around It happens to be the color of Manchester in the collection of the Andes. I would have to describe the color as "camel" or "candy" because family is so but it has wealth seen in the forests of mahogany and gold. There were some brick home that had a tan colored grout. The travertine color looked good with brick and Incorporated in the color of the grout. Nearby was an aggregate of light brown concrete walk, which also mix well with the travertine material.

I had no idea how truly dramatic of these travertine pavers would be until it was installed in the project. To be honest, not at this point, have even been washed or closed, so we can just imagine the beauty, when these two processes are met.

The stones of this project which I refer is a kaleidoscope of colors and patterns! The colors range from dark to light. This alone makes them interesting. However, you can also see several models that will allows this is natural stone.

There are some pieces that are almost unbelievable. They have a swirling pattern throughout the entire stone. Others seem washes of color, and others still have their own personalities.

When selecting natural stone for a project, I can not really say what it will look like by examining in one piece. For the best possible image, it is best to sample all parts of the particular area they are. Stones vary greatly from one another to see many different together will give the best representation. Since it is a natural material, they are all different ... but that's the beauty of them.

I recently had the opportunity to see a draft of travertine pavers from another source. I'm not sure where they came from, but I know it was not Peru. There was a clear difference between the two types.

While the stones are relatively soft Andes Collection, another had numerous "holes". He could see the water sitting in these holes of a recent rain. In addition, the edges are dropped, obviously, as were quite mixed. This made them look hard. This is not necessarily bad. I'm just pointing differences are a matter of preference. I like thinner edges, where inequality is lower.

Paving sand for paving union together?

We are about to 25 square meters of floor and are assumed to be 0.5 cm gaps by -1.cm. .... and want to unite the pavers together and have read about of a product called MAGIC ARENA or bond SUPERSAND (polymeric sand stabilization) ... which has a resin on the sand and once thoroughly brushing spray hose light light wetting agent hardens and bind so no loose paving stones. But I can not find these products in AUSTRALIA ...... I heard that just used the sand and cement ... Dry fire hose with a light in ... and said he does the same. I'll believe otherwise! I know sand and cement will hold ..... but believing that the other product could be better. Does anyone know where I can get any of these products and stocks in Australia, preferably in NSW.

Im in Melbourne. There are a lot tile products in the market and most are available as Bunnings and Miter 10 However, I suggest you find a tiling shop thats near where you live. I've done a number of tile jobs in recent years and we suggest buying a mixed product before a professional card or paved store yet if you'll have a go at mixing the material yourself I would use a 4 to 1 ratio of sand and cement, as for example, that would be 4 shovels of sand and 1 bucket of cement. Oh and the line of grout depends on the size of the stones, if they have a large paver then you want a larger tip line, but unless you make tiles wall in a small bathroom that we recommend using a 10mm gap for the grout.
