This fixture provides an even distribution of light with a glass diffuser that is secured in a hinged door. Xenon light bulbs are cooler than halogen, have a rated life of 8,000 hours on average, a 100 color rendering index (which is the best), and unlike halogen light bulbs you can touch the glass envelope of a xenon light bulb without causing the lamp to fail prematurely. This fixture comes with an integrated hi/lo/off switch and they can be linked together.
